Returns and Exchange Procedure
If you change your mind…

Here at Fairways Garden Centre we want you to be able to buy with confidence. However, should you wish to return your purchases, we are happy to exchange or refund goods, provided they are returned with proof of purchase & in the original packaging within 28 days.

After 28 days a credit note or exchange will be offered.

We regret that this offer does not include plants or bulbs.

This does not affect your statutory rights.

2 Year Guarantee to Grow…
We are so confident in the quality of our hardy plants, we are delighted to sell them with a 2 Year Hardy Plant Guarantee!

If we sell you a plant that dies, underperforms or turns out to be something different than the label states, we will replace it for you free of charge. Simply bring the plant back in store with the label and proof of purchase within 2 years. Our only exception is where the plant has died as a result of neglect or lack of care!

Marketing Use
Your personal information may be used to send you special offers, coupons and other promotions that we think would interest you for marketing purpose. You do not have to agree to this but if you would like news and offers from Fairways please provide us with your email address and consent. All our electronic marketing material carries an unsubscribe option, so you can also unsubscribe at any time.

From 19th March2026 Fairways Rewards App will replace Fairways Reward Card for any new members joining the programme. Any member with a physical card can continue to save points on their qualifying transactions to receive vouchers throughout the year along with our regular newsletters if they choose not to upgrade to our App. Please see Terms and Conditions of Reward Card for details.

1. General Terms

The promoter of Fairways Rewards is Fairways Garden Centre whose registered company number is 04433742 and registered office is Fairways Garden Centre, Clifton, Ashbourne, Derbyshire, DE6 2GN.

By joining the Fairways Rewards loyalty programme, we will collect and use personal information about you in accordance with data protection legislation and our Privacy Policy. This personal information includes your registration details, information about the use of your Loyalty Card, shopping purchases and other information that you give us. It will be used to administer the loyalty programme, provide you with benefits, personalising your offers and to keep you updated with our latest news.

These terms and conditions replace all previous versions. They will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England, and any disputes will be decided only by the English courts. Fairways Garden Centre reserves the right to change these at any time, on reasonable notice for legal, regulatory, business or policy reasons. Members who continue to participate in the scheme following such a change will be considered to have accepted the updated terms and conditions.

A person who is not a party to these terms and conditions shall have no right under the Contract (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 to enforce any term of these terms and conditions, but this shall not affect any right or remedy of a third party which exists or is available apart from that Act.

Members are only entitled to participate in one loyalty account each.

Fairways Garden Centre reserves the right to refuse, merge or close additional accounts at any time.

Loyalty accounts, coupons, stamps and vouchers cannot be transferred, bought, sold or traded in any way and cannot be exchanged for any cash alternatives in whole or in part. Terms and conditions of voucher use will apply and will be stated on each voucher issued.

All vouchers issued are non-transferable.

If the loyalty programme reasonably suspects abuse, fraud or misconduct in respect of use of the card, it may refuse to issue and/or cancel points or vouchers. You may not rely on any human or software error which results in the award of points or vouchers to which you are not entitled under these conditions.

If no transaction occurs by a member in any consecutive eighteen-month period, any offers and/or vouchers may not be issued and their loyalty account made inactive.

2. Use of personal data

Fairways Garden Centre uses your shopping buying behaviour to help us better understand you as a customer and provide you with personalised offers and services. Fairways Garden Centre uses basic data about your general shopping habits (and those of similar households) to group customers into different segments which allows us to personalise our offers and services for you including in our marketing communications.

Your purchase history will be used to look up receipts on your request and to send relevant information and reward vouchers.

Fairways Garden Centre finds potential customers who “look like” existing customers on platforms such as Facebook and Google for advertising purposes (‘platform’). To do this, Fairways Garden Centre uses information about your general shopping habits to create groups of customers that may be interested in our products and services. If you’re within one of these groups for a given campaign, Fairways Garden Centre may share some basic data about you (and the other customers in the group) with the platform. This helps the platform to find and show adverts to other users of its platform who have similar interests to you. You can stop Fairways Garden Centre use of your data in this way by opting out of this marketing by unsubscribing from our marketing emails. You can also opt out of being included in a platform’s lookalike audiences directly via them.

There are organisations that Fairways Garden Centre work with to deliver and improve the services we offer to you. For example: technology and data services (such as analysing data, processing data and managing marketing communication campaigns). Fairways Garden Centre only shares personal data that enable our service providers to provide their services, and they only use it for purposes agreed with us.

Loyalty account inactivity does not automatically withdraw a member’s marketing consent. Marketing preferences can be managed at any time via unsubscribe links in marketing communications or through account settings.

If a loyalty account has not been used for a consecutive period of 18 months, Fairways Garden Centre reserves the right to close the account. In such circumstances, any points and vouchers will be removed. Personal data associated with a closed account will be retained, deleted or anonymised in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection legislation.

3. Joining the loyalty programme

Your name, full postal address, email address, date of birth must be provided for an account to be registered. Applicants must be aged 18 or over and must have a resident UK, Channel Island or Isle of Man address. Fairways Garden Centre reserves the right to refuse an application at its sole discretion.

Members will need a valid email address to register your card/ sign up to our app. If you do not register your card /app you will not become a member or be able to collect your points nor will you be eligible for other offers and promotions available to members.

Fairways Garden Centre will use your email address to administer the loyalty programme, communicate our T&Cs and send you information about the current offers. If you don’t want to receive marketing emails, you can unsubscribe at the bottom of the emails. However, by unsubscribing, you won’t be able to see all the great offers available to you without logging in to the app. Fairways Garden Centre reserve the right to use your email address to communicate important updates about Fairways Rewards for administrative and contractual purposes only.

4. Biometric Login

For enhanced security and ease, the Fairways Rewards mobile application may offer biometric login capabilities, including but not limited to thumbprint or facial recognition. This feature is optional and can be used by a member at their discretion.

By opting into enabling the Biometric Login feature, you consent to the use of your data solely for the purpose of identity verification and application access. This data will be encrypted and stored securely on your device.

Members are responsible for ensuring that their biometric data is kept secure and for not allowing others to access their account via Biometric Login.

Members can change or disable the Biometric Login feature at any time through the Application settings. Upon disabling, Members will be required to use alternative login methods, such as a password.

Fairways Garden Centre shall not be held liable for any loss, theft, or unauthorised access to a Member’s account through the Biometric Login feature.

5. Points Vouchers

Rewards and points are only offered as a result of purchasing products from Fairways Garden Centre . Points will not be awarded for non-qualifying products, including gift cards, HTA vouchers and restaurant purchases.

Members can collect 2.5 points for every £1 spent in a single transaction (after discounts and exclusions). Points are converted into vouchers and issued with a qualifying statement with expiry date and other terms and conditions displayed on the member’s voucher.

Each point is worth 1p in reward vouchers. Points have no value until converted into vouchers and vouchers must be used in full in one transaction with any remaining unused balance being voided.

Customers must spend a minimum of £40 in the qualifying period to receive a voucher. If your total spend is below this threshold, the issuance of a voucher will be at the discretion of Fairways Garden Centre, and any remaining balance will be considered void and not carried over.

Fairways Garden Centre is entitled to remove points from a member’s account at any time, if products are returned for any reason and a full or partial refund of the purchase price is given. This also applies to the exchange of products, unless the exchange is for products with an equivalent points value.

Fairways Garden Centre reserves the right to alter the terms of the points system at any time and is under no obligation to award points for any reason outside of qualifying transactions.

If you forget to scan your Fairways Rewards App or card, please ask the cashier to validate your receipt. You will need to provide the validated receipt within 30 days of the transaction to be able to collect your points.

Fairways Garden Centre reserves the right to withdraw points promotions/offers without notice.

Fairways Garden Centre will remove points from registered accounts that haven’t been used for 18 months or have been closed.

6. Birthday Treat (App members only)

Members with the Fairways Rewards App, who provide their date of birth at point of application or by updating their details within their App, will be issued a birthday treat voucher on or around the birth date they supply. Expiry date and other terms and conditions will be displayed on the member’s voucher. App Members will only be entitled to one birthday voucher per year per member.

Fairways Garden Centre reserve the right to change or withdraw the birthday treat at any time.

7. Hot Drinks Loyalty Card (App members only)

Members with the Fairways Rewards App will be issued with a digital Hot Drinks Reward Card via the Fairways Rewards App. Participation in the scheme is subject to these Terms and Conditions.

Upon purchasing nine (9) hot drinks at full price, members will receive a free hot drink drink automatically deducted when they purchase their 10th hot drink.

Only hot drinks purchased at full price qualify for this promotion and discounted, promotional, or complimentary drinks are excluded. Subject to availability.

Each qualifying hot drink purchase will earn one (1) stamp.

Members must scan their Fairways Rewards App at the point of purchase for each of the nine (9) hot drinks in order to collect a stamp. Failure to scan may result in the purchase not being counted.

Fairways Garden Centre reserves the right to amend, suspend, or withdraw the Hot Drinks Reward Card scheme at any time and without prior notice.

Fairways Garden Centre’s decision in all matters relating to the scheme shall be final.

8. Prize Draws

To enter a prize draw, members are required to make any purchase from Fairways Garden Centre and to scan their App card during the transaction.

Winners will be selected via a randomised computer process. The draw will be made within 5 working days of the closing date and winners will be contacted within 14 days.

Fairways Garden Centre will make reasonable efforts to contact the winners. However, if a winner has not responded to notification within 14 days of the first attempt, or if a selected winner is ineligible, in breach of these rules, or unable to take up the prize for any other reason, an alternative winner will be drawn using the same methodology as above. The process will repeat until an eligible winner is able to claim the prize.

Fairways Garden Centre cannot be held responsible for winners failing to supply accurate information which affects prize acceptance or delivery.

The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for any cash alternatives in whole or in part.

Fairways Garden Centre reserves the right in its absolute discretion to withdraw or amend without notice this promotion in the event of any unforeseen circumstances outside of its reasonable control or for such other reason as we deem appropriate.

The decisions of Fairways Garden Centre are final and no correspondence will be entered into.

9. Instant Instore Prize Promotions (App members only)

To enter, members with the Fairways Rewards App, are required to make any purchase from Fairways Garden Centre and to scan their App during the transaction.

Winners will be selected via a randomised computer process within Fairways Garden Centre till system and will be issued a voucher into their App on the day.

The prize coupon can be used by the winner on any future transactions within the valid period from the date of issue. The value of the prize coupon must be spent in full in one transaction and no part payment accepted whereby any funds not used will be lost. All other terms and conditions will be clearly presented on the voucher, along with an expiry date, within the member app.

The prize is a non-transferable discount coupon and cannot be exchanged for any cash alternatives in whole or in part.

Fairways Garden Centre reserves the right in its absolute discretion to withdraw or amend without notice this promotion in the event of any unforeseen circumstances outside of its reasonable control or for such other reason as we deem appropriate.

The decisions of Fairways Garden Centre are final and no correspondence will be entered into.

10. Termination of Membership

Fairways Garden Centre would be sorry to see you leave but you may terminate your App at any time in which case all points on the card and vouchers issued shall be lost.

Steps to delete your App account:

Step 1 – Log into your App
Step 2 – Press the Account icon at the bottom of your App
Step 3 – Select the tab called ‘Details’
Step 4 – Scroll to the bottom and tap ‘Permanently Delete Account’
Step 5 – Enter your App password and press ‘DELETE’
Step 6 – Your customer record is permanently deleted immediately.
