We’re seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Full Time Cafe Manager to oversee the daily operations of our busy on-site cafe. You’ll be the heart of our hospitality, ensuring every customer enjoys a delightful experience amidst the beautiful surroundings of our garden centre. 

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Leading and inspiring a dedicated cafe team, including recruitment, training, and scheduling
  • Ensuring smooth and efficient day-to-day operations, from opening to closing
  • Managing stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimising waste
  • Providing exceptional customer service and resolving any queries or issues
  • Implementing and adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations  
  • Creating a welcoming and inviting atmosphere for all our customers

You’ll bring:

  • Proven experience in a cafe or catering management role
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop others
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with stock management and basic financial administration

Café Assistants

Ashbourne (Full and Part Time)

As a Café Assistant, you’ll play a crucial role in the heart of our business, working alongside the existing team providing our customers with excellent food and customer service. Weekend working required.

We pride ourselves on offering our customers a unique and enjoyable shopping experience, and we’re looking for someone who can help us elevate our clothing and gift department to new heights.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Leading and Motivating a Small Team: Providing guidance, training, and support to ensure excellent customer service and efficient operations
  • Merchandising and Display: Creating visually appealing displays that showcase our diverse range of clothing, accessories, and gifts, reflecting seasonal trends
  • Stock Management: Overseeing stock levels, placing orders, and ensuring accurate inventory control
  • Customer Service: Providing exceptional customer service, offering style advice, and handling enquiries with a friendly and professional approach
  • Maintaining Department Standards: Ensuring the department is clean, organised, and well-presented at all times
