Gardening in July

Fingers crossed the warm weather will shine down on us this month and because of that it’s vitally important to keep the garden hydrated!

Watering is one of the most important jobs in warmer months especially with containers and hanging baskets as they are notoriously thirsty!

Another important job is to deadhead bedding plants and repeat flowering perennials to ensure continuous flowering during the summer months!

Other top tips for July-

• Mow the lawn- also why not give it a quick summer feed to help it stay lovely and green!
• Treat any signs of apple scab
• Check plants for sign of disease or pests
• Weeds- keep on top of the weeding
• Feed and deadhead roses to keep flowering
