Getting children interested in gardening
Why not give your child their own little garden plot! They could start off one rainy day by drawing their ideal garden. Using colours and stickers, they can plan what they want to grow and how they want it to look.
Next bring them along to see us and let them pick seeds, plants or veggies to take home and plant in their little garden.
Once home show them how deep the soil needs to be etc. and watch as they plant up their empire and learn how to care for it.
Why not grow sunflowers and have family competitions to who can grow the tallest!
Or use flower seeds to spell out their name and watch as it grows!
The possibilities are endless in helping our kids to grow!
